Si bien se ha rumoreado hace poco que Ringo Starr podría reunirse con Paul McCartney en una gira conjunta que servirí para verles tocar los temas de los Beatles, ahora por lo visto esos rumores se diluyen ha anunciado un tour pero en solitario.
El nuevo tour de Ringo Starr arrancará el próximo 14 de Junio en el Fallsview Casino en Niagara Falls, y se alargará hasta el 21 de Julio en el The Greek en Los Angeles.
Starr ha reclutado para esta gira a músicos que han tocado con otros artistas más que conocidos. En la nueva banda de Ringo tocarán Todd Rundgren, Gregg Rolie (Santana), Steve Lukather (Toto), Richard Page (Mr. Mister), el saxofonista Mark Rivera y el batería Gregg Bissonette.
