Más de seis años después de su muerte, Johnny Cash regresará el próximo mes a las tiendas con un nuevo álbum que incluirá una de las últimas canciones escritas por la leyenda de la música country.

Será en febrero cuando salga a la venta el último trabajo de estudio del famoso cantante “American VI: Ain’t No Grave“.

Al igual que sus antecesores, “Ain’t No Grave” está cargado de versiones acústicas de canciones de otros artistas, incluyendo temas escritos por Sheryl Crow y Kris Kristofferson, además de un sencillo gospel previamente interpretado por Bob Dylan.

Aunque suene un tanto extraño que uno de los grandes del rock and roll de todos los tiempos se pueda relacionar en una noticia con un estilo como el hip-hop, no os preocupeis… porque es verdad.

Hace poco nos encontramos la noticia de que Snoop Dogg versionará los temas del primer disco de Cash, logicamente en su estilo. Lo que pretende hacer Snoop es usar de base las canciones del rockero y transformarlas en canciones que sigan el estilo del siglo XXI.

Opiniones para todos los gustos, desde los que repudiaran la actuación del rapero como los que la alabaran por “resucitar” a Johnny Cash.
